Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to shape a high-performing team responsible for infrastructure and performance excellence.

You will drive Endevor lifecycle automation, build pipelines, and AI-assisted engineering within a secure, auditable framework on a global scale. Responsibilities include configuring Endevor environments, developing Python/REXX tools, and implementing resilient CI/CD pipelines with API wrappers.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Endevor platform engineering: inventory/models, maintenance, DR readiness.
• CI/CD delivery using Jenkins with pipelines and shared libraries.
• APIs/CLI wrappers with consistent error handling and supportability.
• REXX & Python automation for z/OS automation and orchestration.
• Security, traceability, and auditability across Endevor/Jenkins/wrappers.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge across public and private clouds.

Responsibilities

• Engineer Endevor inventory model aligned to SDLC and release governance.
• Configure processors to enable deterministic build flows and middleware hooks.
• Develop Endevor automation interfaces using APIs/CLI and wrappers.
• Create Python automation and REXX utilities for Endevor lifecycle actions.
• Implement Jenkins pipelines invoking Endevor via wrappers and secure credentials.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from commit to package with provenance.
• Troubleshoot failures across toolchain and deliver RCAs with fixes.
• Define backup/restore and DR procedures for Endevor repositories and datasets.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate analysis while ensuring security.
• Lead workstreams across infrastructure technologies to modernize processes.
