Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to lead Endevor-based workflows within Corporate Technology.

You will design, automate, and govern build and promotion processes, while integrating Python/REXX tooling and Jenkins pipelines across z/OS environments. You will apply strong scripting, security, and audit practices and leverage AI-enabled capabilities to improve reliability and resiliency in a complex infrastructure landscape.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Endevor platform engineering: configure/operate CA-Endevor (inventory models, processors/generates, packages/promotion rules).
• CI/CD delivery with Jenkins: pipeline-as-code to automate flows, sequencing and approvals.
• API/CLI + custom wrapper enablement: versioned wrappers with error handling and logging.
• REXX & Python automation: z/OS automation and orchestration tools.
• Security, traceability, and reliability: implement least-privilege access and audit logging.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support workflows with validation.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations for resiliency and security.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages.
• Experience with multiple cloud technologies (public/private).

Responsibilities

• Engineer and govern Endevor inventory models aligned to SDLC and duties.
• Configure and maintain processors to enable deterministic builds and middleware hooks.
• Build and maintain Endevor automation interfaces using APIs/CLI and wrappers.
• Develop Python automation and REXX utilities for Endevor lifecycle actions.
• Implement Jenkins pipelines that call Endevor via wrappers and manage credentials.
• Ensure traceability of commit-build-package history and promotion labeling.
• Troubleshoot toolchain failures and deliver RCA and preventive fixes.
• Define and test backup/restore and DR procedures for Endevor repos.
• Utilize enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design.
• Apply reuse-first approaches to identify capacity risks and drive remediation.
