Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead and design enterprise infrastructure spanning cloud, data center, network and storage. You will set standards, mentor engineers, and serve as the escalation point for critical incidents while partnering with IT Security to ensure HIPAA-compliant, audit-ready infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on infrastructure experience, including 3+ years senior/lead.
• Expert in Windows Server and Linux in enterprise, with virtualization.
• Deep storage, backup, and production workloads in AWS/Azure.
• Strong networking, firewall, VPN, SD-WAN, segmentation skills.
• IaC (Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Security controls implemented with IT Security partner.
• 3+ years handling ePHI or regulated data, HIPAA/HITECH knowledge.
• Proven project leadership and major incident escalation.
• 5+ years AD and Entra ID in hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure design and delivery across cloud, data center, network and storage.
• Set engineering standards and mentor mid-level and junior engineers.
• Own security controls with IT Security and ensure audit-ready by design.
• Escalation point for critical incidents and complex projects.
• Partner with IT Security on ePHI and regulatory compliance.
