Job summary

Vitaver & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to lead design and governance of enterprise compute, storage, and networking at a client site in Juno Beach, FL.

This onsite role requires deep expertise in Red Hat Linux, VMware virtualization, and infrastructure automation. You will define standards, drive IaC initiatives with Terraform and Ansible, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver resilient, scalable environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• 5+ years in an architecture or technical leadership role.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• VMware virtualization: ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, DRS, HA, vMotion, NSX, vSAN.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalents.
• Configuration management with Ansible Automation Platform or Ansible.
• Experience designing automated provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Git-based workflows and code management.
• CI/CD integration and automation in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain standards for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), VMware virtualization, and infrastructure automation.
• Develop enterprise technology roadmaps for compute platforms, automation, virtualization, and hybrid cloud.
• Design highly available, resilient, secure, and scalable enterprise compute environments.
• Architect enterprise VMware solutions including ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, and VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Define Linux platform standards including OS lifecycle management, patching, security hardening, image management, and compliance.
• Lead infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform and related automation tools.
• Design and implement automated provisioning workflows for VMs, operating systems, storage, networking, and services.

Required:

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach,FL (required);
• Enterprise infrastructure engineering experience. (10+ years)

• Experience with enterprise networking, SAN storage, DNS, load balancing, backup, and disaster recovery.
