Job summary

Honda is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support ongoing cloud migration and infrastructure initiatives in Marysville, OH. This hybrid role requires four days onsite per week and collaboration with enterprise teams on cloud platforms and containerized workloads.

You will lead implementations on AWS/Azure/GCP, manage Kubernetes-based environments including EKS and OpenShift, and drive automation with Terraform, Ansible, and Python.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing enterprise cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Description

Seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support ongoing projects.

Duties Include

• Install and configure Windows and Linux operating systems within cloud IaaS providers.
• Lead and support complex cloud infrastructure projects through completion, ensuring alignment with company standards.
• Recommend cloud-based platform services, including container platform capabilities, that improve performance, scalability, resilience, and enable new capabilities.
• Evaluate, compare, and implement emerging technologies and integrate systems into the cloud computing environment.
• Lead the transition of locally hosted infrastructure to cloud platforms while ensuring integration with existing enterprise systems.
• Support implementation and integration of Kubernetes-based container environments, including AWS EKS and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, where aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based compute, storage, and container platform environments.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions for cloud and on-premise infrastructure management.

WANTS
