Job summary

iSpace, Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a senior IT infrastructure specialist for a 6-month W2 contract. Role involves onsite 4 days/week with 1 day remote; supports DR and enterprise server virtualization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure or systems administration experience.
• 5+ years administering enterprise server and virtualization platforms.
• 3+ years supporting DR planning, exercises, failover, or infrastructure recovery.
• Advanced VMware vSphere experience including ESXi installation/upgrade, cluster config, VLAN config, performance and ops.
• Advanced Windows Server (2016+) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (7.x+) administration.
• Advanced Cisco UCS experience including server profiles and Fabric Interconnect connectivity.
• Experience with Nutanix AOS and other x86 server hardware.
• Experience supporting AWS EC2 workloads and platform integrations.
• Experience with automation using Ansible or similar tooling.
• Working knowledge of NAS, SAN, and backup platforms (Dell PowerStore, Isilon/OneFS, Avamar, Data Domain, Cisco SAN).
• Experience with ITSM, 24x7 operations, change control, patching, vulnerability remediation, major incidents, and RCA presentations.

Location: Greensboro, NC (4 days/week onsite along with 1 day/week remote)

Contract Duration: 6 months with a possibility of extension

• Experience with ITSM, 24x7 operations, change control, patching, vulnerability remediation, major incidents, and RCA. Strong preparation and presentation skills for upper Management Levels as well as stakeholder’s status reports.
