Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to support on-prem and cloud infrastructure in Fulton, MD, onsite. The role focuses on building and maintaining resilient IT environments and deploying CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable software delivery for mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate will manage Windows and Linux servers across bare-metal, virtual, and cloud platforms, and administer diverse virtualization stacks (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, Proxmox).

Qualifications

• CI/CD pipelines development and support for enterprise services across environments.
• Strong Windows and Linux system administration across bare-metal, virtual, or cloud environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, and Proxmox.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for Agile implementations of enterprise services across multiple environments for consistent configurations.
• Windows and Linux system administration of enterprise-wide systems, including setting up new and/or maintaining existing environments, either bare-metal, virtual, or cloud based.
• Administration or support of virtualized environments leveraging a range of technologies including VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix, and Proxmox.

Our Software Engineering Team is growing and searching for an enthusiastic, collaborative, and dedicated team member to be part of the Solipsys System and Network Administration Team under the Software Engineering department.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Administrator - On-Prem & Cloud to work onsite in Fulton, MD.

As a member of the Software Engineering team, you will assist in implementation and integration of IT solutions and infrastructure deployments that enhance resiliency and availability of critical services and maintenance of existing technologies deployed throughout the enterprise, including cloud environments; building, maintaining, hardening, and troubleshooting operational environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical to convey information in a tactful manner and at the technical proficiency of the audience and keeping up to date with current technology trends and future innovations.
