Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a Reliability Centered Maintenance technician to monitor equipment across SX/EW, Smelter, and mine operations. The role focuses on predictive maintenance, data collection, and coordinating maintenance with supervision, planning, engineering, and field personnel.

Travel to other facilities is required. You will develop and implement maintenance plans, load and analyze ultrasonic and infrared data, and mentor others in RCM practices while maintaining a safe,

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience with industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and apply information from technical manuals.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork, with good communication skills.
• Proficient Windows/Office applications and CMMS systems.
• ITC Level I certification or obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment across SX/EW, Smelter, mine, and power systems.
• Load, dump, and analyze ultrasonic and infrared data and maintain data sets.
• Prepare reports and maintenance plans; manage work orders in CMMS.
• Travel to other facilities and mentor RCM program participants.
