Job summary

Partners Group in Denver seeks a driven investment professional to join the Private Infrastructure Direct Investment Team and participate in all aspects of control-oriented investments across Energy, Communications, Transportation, Social Infrastructure and Services. You will work in a lean, entrepreneurial environment, leading some tasks and mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in principal investing or investment banking.
• Top academic credentials (Master’s/MBA; CFA is an asset).
• Strong numerical, analytical, and writing abilities.
• Excellent financial modelling skills; advanced Excel.
• Ability to conduct research with incomplete information.
• Strong written and spoken communication; teamwork.
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial; able to mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Support quantitative and qualitative screen and due diligence on prospective private infrastructure investments.
• Lead process management during due diligence, overseeing junior team members.
• Own and run sophisticated infrastructure financial models.
• Prepare investment memoranda for Investment Committee meetings.
• Contribute to thematic sourcing initiatives across European infrastructure.
• Monitor investments and work with portfolio companies on value creation.
• Perform tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing.
