Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer focused on infrastructure to join our DevTools group. You will own products and tools across the full development lifecycle, from SCM to CI/CD and production metrics.

Collaborate with Development, Research, DevOps and SRE to capture requirements, resolve issues, and drive adoption of state-of-the-art tooling. A strong background in cloud environments and large-scale SaaS platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software developer with infrastructure focus.
• Experience developing in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proven ability to drive large scale, long-running projects (>50 developers).
• Experience with Configuration Management/DevOps tooling.
• Familiarity with NoSQL and relational DBs (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience building and operating SaaS microservices with high scale and load in production.
• BSc. degree in Computer Science from a known university or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Discover, define, design, build and own products and tools across the entire development process (SCM to CI/CD and production metrics).
• Collaborate with Development and Research on one side, DevOps/SRE on the other to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
• Educate the organization about state-of-the-art tools, techniques and methodologies to improve R&D.
• Be the evangelist, onboard teams and drive adoption across groups within Cato.
