Job summary

The Opportunity Designs is seeking a senior Elastic Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable logging and analytics for government-grade cybersecurity environments. You will build dashboards, enforce ECS mappings, and tune detection rules within Elastic Security to support SOC workflows.

Strong experience with Elastic Stack, ML in security, and cross-domain log sources is required. U.S. security clearances and DoD client exposure are a plus; a Bachelor's degree is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years administering Elastic Stack and related components.
• Experience with index lifecycle policies, data streams, and dashboards.
• Exposure to Elastic Security detection rules and case workflows.
• Knowledge of ECS and mapping logs to ECS fields.
