The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in IT with 5+ years in risk analysis, cloud security, and threat detection, plus strong communication skills for senior staff and end users.

Qualifikationen

• 8–10 years IT experience with 5+ years in risk analysis, audit logs, and threat hunting.
• Experience with cloud security, advanced threat defense, firewall deployment, and penetration technologies.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53, MITRE ATT&CK, and AI/ML concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication to explain complex material to diverse audiences.

Aufgaben

• Lead investigations of security incidents and ensure rapid containment and remediation.
• Design, implement, and fine‑tune security tools and solutions (CheckPoint EDR, VPN, iBoss, QRadar).
• Develop and maintain detection rules, alerts, and dashboards for improved visibility.
• Integrate threat intelligence feeds to enhance correlation and alerting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues with security tools and systems.
• Monitor and manage security events and respond to SIEM alerts.
• Align engineering activities with NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend security tool/process enhancements.
• Stay current with threats and best practices to evolve the security posture.
• Keep track of tasks to ensure completion.
