Job summary

Staffing Spot, Inc. seeks a senior Information Security Engineer to serve as a technical expert for Thales CipherTrust Key Manager and CipherTrust Transparent Encryption.

You will design and support enterprise encryption, perform complex troubleshooting, and mentor engineers across Linux, Windows, and security appliances. The role requires 5+ years in information security, strong cryptography knowledge, and experience with automation, HSMs, and Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on with Thales CipherTrust CTKM and CipherTrust Transparent Encryption.
• 5+ years scripting/automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, VBScript, JavaScript, or UiPath.
• 5+ years Unix/Linux/Windows Systems Administration.
• Strong experience with OS troubleshooting, hardening, and performance tuning.
• 5+ years of encryption or tokenization technologies.
• 3+ years building/administering/suppoting HSMs or security appliances.
• Advanced knowledge of cryptographic protocols and enterprise key management.
• Experience with FPE, tokenization, and TDE.
• Experience with infrastructure upgrades, security patches and firmware upgrades.
• Experience supporting apps in Linux/Windows servers.
• Experience with enterprise change and incident management.
• Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical SME for CipherTrust products and encryption solutions.
• Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise encryption and key management.
• Troubleshoot CipherTrust, encryption, OS, and security appliance issues.
• Support Linux, Unix, and Windows environments including OS hardening and tuning.
• Administer and support Hardware Security Modules and security appliances.
• Develop automation with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible or similar.
• Coordinate upgrades and patches for CipherTrust, HSMs, and related infrastructure.
• Participate in implementation planning, testing, deployment, and readiness for upgrades.
• Support change, incident, and problem management in a large enterprise.
• Apply cryptographic knowledge and key management best practices.
