Qualifications

• BA/BS and 3+ years of related experience (7+ in lieu of degree)
• Experience with Microsoft Server 2016/2019 or newer including Active Directory, Radius, DNS and Group Policy
• Experience with virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Familiar with Trellix ENS and Tenable Security Center (ACAS)
• Familiar with maintaining and operating SQL Server
• Patches/updates and STIGs
• IAT level II certification IAW DoD 8140.01 (e.g., Security+, CCSP, CASP+)
• Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Manages system vulnerabilities per NIST continuous monitoring standards and RMF controls.
• Identify and assess emergency or priority vulnerabilities and propose remediation.
• Analyze vulnerability data and assist with prioritization based on risk.
• Explain vulnerabilities, impacts, and fixes to stakeholders.
• Update security standards and templates to meet new requirements.
• Improve VM practices across the enterprise for vulnerability management.
• Enhance VM frameworks to maintain industry best practices.
• Coordinate data collection for examinations and audits.
• Work with vendors (ACAS, HBSS) to identify solutions.
• Research and implement information security measures to protect information.
