Job summary

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is hiring a Senior Information Assurance Analyst for a hybrid role in the DC Metro area, supporting EPA on a long-standing federal contract. You will advise senior stakeholders, lead IV&V on ATO packages, and manage risk with GRC tools.

Core hours are 8am–5pm EST, onsite and telework as approved. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in IT or related field with 8+ years IA experience, and possess strong NIST RMF and RMF-based control testing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, plus 8 years IA experience (security certs ok for 2 years).
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of NIST 800-53 Rev 5 and NIST 800-37 RMF.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior stakeholders on InfoSec initiatives and training.
• Lead IV&V efforts on security authorization packages.
• Track findings using Telos Xacta or CSAM/RSA Archer/eMASS.
• Coordinate government data calls and monthly reports.
• Develop enterprise InfoSec performance metrics and dashboards.
• Assist in POA&Ms and remediation planning.
• Collaborate with ISSOs, system owners, and security officials.
• Prepare executive briefings on studies and plans.
