Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA) seeks a Senior Information Assurance Analyst to support EPA in a hybrid DC-area role. Core hours are 8am–5pm EST, with onsite and telework as approved.

The candidate will lead RMF/NIST-based information security efforts, advise stakeholders, and coordinate data calls while leveraging GRC tools like Xacta or RSA Archer. Experience with federal programs and ability to obtain a Public Trust is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field and 8 years of IA experience.
• Security certification (e.g., CISSP) can substitute for 2 years of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of applying, selecting and testing NIST 800-53 Rev 5 controls.
• In-depth knowledge of NIST 800-37 RMF.
• Experience with a GRC tool (Xacta, RSA Archer, CSAM or eMASS).

Responsabilités

• Advise senior-level stakeholders on InfoSec initiatives including compliance, awareness and training, and security operations.
• Lead IV&V efforts on security authorization/ATO packages to ensure agency requirements.
• Track and reconcile findings using GRC tools (Xacta / CSAM / RSA Archer / eMASS).
• Coordinate government data calls (FISMA, FMFIA, BDR) and monthly reports.
• Assess effectiveness of InfoSec training and present enterprise metrics.
• Manage InfoSec Program POA&Ms and remediation planning.
• Collaborate with security officials, system owners, ISSOs and stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Identify efficiencies and innovative approaches in work processes.
• Participate in team problem solving and client issue resolution.
• Prepare and assist in policy and procedure development.
• Implement processes to monitor risk across programs/projects.
• Prepare executive briefings on studies, analyses, and plans.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field

CISSP certification (may substitute 2 years experience)
