PMO Partners, LLC is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS) to lead cross-functional initiatives that establish scalable analytics capabilities and governed data assets. The role drives data-driven decision making, empowering staff and leadership with actionable insights.

This three-year limited term position requires residency in California at start, with hybrid on-site work at least one day per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive software analysis, development, and implementation experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex technical projects within the cultural heritage domain
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent program/certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs the full range of project management duties: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling
• Directs projects with high levels of functional integration across multiple disciplines
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects and workstreams with complex interdependencies
• Track and coordinate technical work across teams and organizations
• Collaborate with other project managers and software engineers, system administrators, and SMEs
• Facilitate discussions to drive recommendations and consensus
• Develop and implement project management and communication plans and processes
• Maintain project documentation, time frames, budgets, and status reports
• Monitor expenses and address budget overruns promptly
• Develop change management strategies and stakeholder communications
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Prepare post-project reports and lessons learned
• Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences

The Senior IT Project Manager for Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS) plays a central role in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that establish scalable analytics capabilities and trusted, well‑governed data assets across the organization. The position drives efforts to reimagine how data, analytics, and technology are leveraged to support their mission—empowering staff, leadership, and cross-functional teams with actionable insights and enabling data-driven decision‑making at all levels.

This is a three‑year limited term position. This position is a hybrid work environment opportunity, not a permanent remote assignment. The successful candidate must be a California resident when employment begins, reside within a commutable distance, and must work at least one day per week on campus
