Job description

The Data & Analytics Program Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of enterprise-wide data and analytics initiatives.

This role ensures alignment between business priorities, technology delivery, and governance standards.

The Program Manager will oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, driving measurable business impact.

Reporting to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer, this position resides within the PMO and plays a key role in program governance and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of data and analytics programs.
  • Define program scope, goals, and success metrics aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Manage dependencies across initiatives and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Adhere to PMO standards and utilize portfolio management tools and templates.
  • Navigate complex organizational structures and build stakeholder alignment.
  • Drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight in dynamic, matrixed environments.
Stakeholder Alignment
  • Partner with business leaders, technology teams, and governance bodies to align program objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between data engineering, analytics, governance, and business functions.
  • Serve as the central point of accountability for executive-level program reporting.
Governance & Standards
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture, governance, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to embed regulatory requirements into delivery.
  • Manage internal resources, contractors, and vendor partners.
  • Oversee program budgets, contracts, and resource allocations for efficiency and value.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies across projects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Escalate critical risks with recommended solutions to leadership.
  • Partner with senior leadership to define and track KPIs aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure programs contribute to trusted data, actionable insights, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7–10 years of experience in program/project management, with 3–5 years focused on data and analytics or technology programs.
  • Strong program management expertise and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in navigating complex organizational environments and driving cross-functional alignment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SEC, FINRA).
  • Exposure to value realization frameworks (e.g., ROI reporting, benefits tracking).
  • Understanding of data modeling, data management, and data lineage concepts.
  • PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP).
