Job summary

Ignite Digital in Washington, DC is seeking an Information Systems Security II to support a Navy cybersecurity project. The role requires evaluating and securing enterprise IT systems, with extensive experience in IA, federal cybersecurity policies, and security administration.

The candidate will interact with government stakeholders, translate technical risk into operational impact, and help maintain DoD/IA compliance across multiple boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field.
• Eligible for DoD TS/SCI clearance upon hire.
• Certification options include CISSO, CISSP, Security+, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CASP+.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize technical information related to mission needs and IT infrastructure.
• Assist in developing security and IA policies compliant with DoD and federal requirements.
• Work with customers to assess risk and secure networks across system boundaries.
• Evaluate security products and controls for mission suitability and compliance.
• Contribute to enterprise IA planning and security posture reviews.
