Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to provide cybersecurity and security engineering services for the NMCC. This full-time onsite day-shift role at the Pentagon/NMCC includes ad-hoc telework and requires a TS/SCI clearance and Security+ certification.

Qualifications

• Security+ certification.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering including design and architecture.
• Ability to identify security risks across information system structures.
• Strong communication, planning, and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform or review security assessments and recommend mitigations.
• Build, deploy, patch HBSS Windows and ACAS Linux servers.
• Manage ePO, Security Center, Nessus servers and vulnerability remediation.
• Lead technical solution development from requirements to deployment.
• Document analyses and recommended actions.
