Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to provide cybersecurity and security engineering services for the National Military Command Center (NMCC) at the Pentagon. The role covers system security engineering, risk assessments, and security architecture support for critical DoD networks.

This full-time on-site daytime position offers ad-hoc telework and requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and Security+ certification, with 5+ years of systems engineering

Qualifications

• Must have security engineering experience across system and network architectures.

Responsibilities

• Perform or review technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
• Build, deploy, patch HBSS Windows and ACAS Red Hat servers.
• Maintain ePO, Security Center, and Nessus servers and provide accounts for Vulnerability Managers.
• Remediate ACAS findings and ensure compliance with benchmarks.
• Obtain licenses for HBSS ePO and Tenable Security Centers and fetch HBSS/ACAS ISOs.
• Design and deploy complex IT systems and lead technical solution development.
• Document solutions and communicate analyses with recommended actions.
