Job summary

Cape Fox Shared Services is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team supporting a government customer in Reston, VA. The ISSE will conduct information system security engineering activities for the ISO/customer and work within DoD RMF+ requirements.

This exempt role offers a salary range of $190,000–$220,000 with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Experience with DoD RMF+ and security engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SCS information systems are designed, developed, and implemented with required security features to meet RMF+ requirements.
• Employ best practices when implementing security controls within information systems.
• Coordinate security-related activities with ISSO/ISSM.
• Provide daily information support and manage the security aspects of SCS information systems.
• Responsible for day-to-day security operations of SCS systems.
• Maintain routine interfaces with ISSO for security compliance.
• Conduct information system security engineering activities to integrate security requirements into systems.
