Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer / Cybersecurity Auditor to support USCYBERCOM and enterprise IT systems. The role involves auditing security postures, managing compliance across the RMF lifecycle, and advising stakeholders on security responsibilities.

Required are a TS/SCI with Polygraph, a DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification, and 10 years of relevant experience. The team operates within Parsons Federal Solutions, offering growth and mission-focused opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related discipline.
10 years of relevant cybersecurity compliance, auditing, or information assurance experience.
Active DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification (CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP/Associate, GSLC, or CCISO).
Deep, practical knowledge of RMF and DoD cybersecurity policies.

Responsibilities

Evaluate Security Posture: Audit and maintain security posture for complex information systems.
Manage Compliance: Lead assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring lifecycle.
Advise Stakeholders: Provide analysis to system owners for security responsibilities.
Review System Plans: Evaluate SSPs and architectures for compliance gaps.
Assess Risk Controls: Analyze effectiveness of security controls protecting the CIA triad.
Analyze Governance: Review security mechanisms against DoD benchmarks.
