Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities in support of US Cyber Command. You will evaluate technical input, create architecture and design docs, and liaise with government stakeholders to guide system development.

The role requires an active TS/SCI w/ Poly, experience across Windows and Linux, and proficiency with JIRA, Ansible, PostgreSQL and MySQL. It is part of Parsons' Federal Solutions team with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Poly required.
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in Windows and Linux operating environments.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Ansible, PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process.
• Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
• Interact with the government regarding systems engineering technical considerations.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers.
• Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establish effective working relationships.
