Job summary

The Queen's Health Systems is seeking an IT leader to support complex, high-risk applications and provide technical oversight of information systems in designated areas. You will guide procedures, set priorities, and lead planning for short and long-term initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences/Computer Science or related field required or four years IT experience may substitute.
• Training or experience in advanced analysis and design techniques.
• Must successfully complete and maintain certification(s) in the application(s) assigned per training agreement

Responsibilities

• Supports complex, high-risk applications/systems in assigned area(s).
• Provides technical expertise and oversight of information systems of moderate to high complexity.
• Guides procedures and best practices for users, setting priorities and technical direction.
• Supervises and directs work of assigned staff.
• Leads information system planning in assigned area.
• Monitors projects to meet dates and timelines.
• Coordinates implementation with PMO when needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences/Computer Science or related field
