Job summary

LockheedMartin Rotary and Mission Systems in California is seeking an F-35 Systems Administrator to support training operations in Lemoore. The role focuses on developing, configuring, and supporting computer applications, setting up training networks, and maintaining system availability for the U.S.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation closure date within the last 5 years and be able to attain and maintain SAP access.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Systems Administration Experience with Windows Server 2019, Windows 10, domain services, networking, antivirus, and application control.
• Active Directory Administration showing proficiency in managing user accounts and access control.
• Virtualization Technology with VMware vSphere, ESXi, VMware Horizon.
• Network Services Administration involving DHCP, DNS, and direct customer support in an IT role.
• Demonstrated Troubleshooting experience to minimize downtime.
• Flexibility in Work Hours to cover multiple shifts and some weekend work.
• Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within 2 months from hire.

Responsibilities

• Interacting daily with users and LM leadership.
• System/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring.
• Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems with peers, Tier2, and engineers.
• Laptop re-imaging, troubleshooting, and account maintenance.
• Regular monitoring of systems/applications for availability and performance.
• Training IT administrators and users on the academic training systems as needed.
• Scheduling and leading installations, modifications, and maintenance of training systems.
• Supporting verification and validation of installations and modifications to systems.
• Acquiring and submitting metrics for review, documenting system anomalies, and forwarding data for analysis.
• Collaborating with other organizations to improve operational performance and configuring systems to approved guidelines.
• Interfacing with customers to resolve break/fix, ensure access to resources, and support daily operations.
• Ensuring compliance with procedures and supporting audits.
