Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Information Security to protect information assets through cybersecurity solutions, policies and procedures, and compliance management.

This role involves monitoring the systems, managing remediation of vulnerabilities, incident response, and raising security awareness. The position requires strong knowledge of cybersecurity systems, risk assessment capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of information security experience in a corporate setting.
• Relevant certification (CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySa+, etc.) optional

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and Vulnerability Remediation
• Monitor the system for abnormalities and data leakage
• Conduct gap analysis to remediate deficiencies and improve security operations
• Respond to data leakage and security incidents
• Compliance and Standardization
• Create, update, and enforce policies and standard operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific security regulations (KNCT, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
• ISO certification/renewal support
• Awareness and Audit
• Support information security awareness improvement for all North America locations
• Conduct site audits for compliance
• Create and conduct awareness raising trainings
• Security review for new devices and/or solutions
• Project Management
• Lead and/or support the implementation of cybersecurity equipment
