Job summary

LGES Vertech is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist III to lead enterprise security operations, handling incident triage, detection, and response across our estate. The role emphasizes autonomy and collaboration with the Lead Cybersecurity Engineer on complex engineering tasks.

The position requires hands-on experience in security operations, SIEM tuning, vulnerability management, EDR, and cloud security in AWS, with strong IAM and risk assessment capabilities. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in security operations, incident response, or cybersecurity.
• Experience with SIEMs and log analysis; knowledge of cloud security practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as first responder for security alerts; triage severity and response path.
• Investigate incidents to root cause using host, network, identity, and cloud logs.
• Document incident timelines, indicators, actions, and findings for audit and customers.
• Lead containment and eradication steps and participate in post-incident reviews.
• Support security on-call rotation and on-call duties.
