Job summary

Node.Digital is seeking an Information Systems Security Specialist to support critical customer missions in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on managing the full RMF lifecycle for IT systems, coordinating with ISSM and CISO, and leading risk-based security decisions.

The ideal candidate holds an active TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, 5+ years in information security, and hands-on experience with RMF, ATO, and security controls across Linux/AWS environments. DHS suitability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in information security management.
• Hands-on with Linux or AWS environments.
• Experience RMF/ATO process from initiation through authorization.
• Knowledge of SSP, Contingency, Incident & Configuration Mgmt planning/execution.
• Ability to lead and manage complex security assignments.
• Familiarity with CND policies and defense-in-depth.
• Experience implementing security controls for hardware, software and network deployments.
• Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders across locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage full RMF lifecycle for IT systems as part of IA team.
• Assist leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
• Define goals and plans meeting project objectives.
• Oversee security management, methods, staffing to meet requirements.
• Participate in client negotiations with senior management.
• Support decision making with domain knowledge impacting projects.
• Help plan and implement lab security and infrastructure.
• Identify current and future security programs for lab systems.
