Job summary

The City of Berkeley Information Technology (IT) Department is seeking an Information Security Manager to oversee the security of the City’s digital assets and IT infrastructure, including on-premise and cloud systems. You will develop policies and lead a team of security professionals to ensure resilience and alignment with business objectives.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in cyber security programs (PCI, HIPAA, DOJ/CJIS) and a track record of building comprehensive security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
• Five years of cyber security, applications and infrastructure experience.
• Two years of experience supervising staff or technical projects.
