Job description

The City is seeking an experienced IT Security Administrator to help protect our technology, data, systems, and services from evolving cybersecurity threats.

This position combines hands-on security operations with strategic planning, including security architecture, risk and vulnerability management, incident response, security monitoring, disaster recovery, and implementation of cybersecurity technologies. The IT Security Administrator will work closely with IT leadership, infrastructure and operations teams, City departments, and security partners to strengthen the City's overall security posture.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field or high school graduation with at least five years of cybersecurity-related experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity operations, risk management, vulnerability management, incident response, and security technologies.
