Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to join the Business Security Enablement team. The role emphasizes secure engineering, cloud/app security, and integrating GenAI-based automation into security reviews and designs.

You will review third-party tech, collaborate with developers and stakeholders, define security requirements, and help ensure Mastercard’s systems stay protected while enabling innovative digital payment solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of work experience in information security.
• CISSP or an industry-recognised security certification is a nice-to-have.
• Advanced knowledge of security protocols and standards.
• Experience with software security architecture and designs.
• Technical experience with programming languages.
• Knowledge of cryptography.
• Moderate hands-on admin experience with Windows and Linux.
• Basic knowledge related to AI, GenAI, LLMs and business automation with AI.
• Working knowledge of encryption, SSL, VPN, IPSec, WAFs and related tools.
• Moderate hands-on scripting experience.
