Job summary

Tri Star Engineering, Inc. seeks an Information System Security Engineer III to provide expert cybersecurity engineering for DoD systems.

You will lead security architecture design, RMF activities, and mentor junior staff to ensure compliance and resilience. The role requires IASAE Level III qualifications, DoD experience, and the ability to translate mission requirements into robust security controls across the system lifecycle, from development through operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Must hold CASP or CISSP before start.
• Active IASAE Level III qualification or equivalent.
• 10+ years in systems/cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience with RMF and DoD authorization artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for DoD systems and IASAE architecture.
• Integrate cybersecurity requirements throughout lifecycle.
• Develop secure architectures addressing threats.
• Lead RMF documentation and authorization activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring.
