Senior Information Security Engineer (cleared) with Security Clearance

Piper Companies is seeking a CLEARED Senior Information Security Engineer to join a DoD consulting firm. This position is based in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD (APG), and requires full onsite presence.

Essential Duties:

1. Provide engineering and analysis support for cybersecurity requirements per AR 25–2.
2. Conduct tailored C5ISR engineering analysis concerning Cybersecurity integration.
3. Focus areas include communications security development, engineering support, and programmatic and technology development for external organizations, including joint programs. Technical areas encompass encryption technologies, communications security/transmission security, satellite network security, cellular, radio, and Tactical Internet security, and cross–domain solutions.
4. Provide desktop hardware and software support, including interoperable and integrated standard office automation desktop software support.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of security engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
• Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CySA+, CASP, CCNA Security (meeting IAT Level II or Level III requirements).
• Scripting experience in Java, Python, or PowerShell.

Compensation: $115,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)
