Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position supports the Bank's Information Security and Cyber Threat management programs at the highest level of complexity and expertise. It leads the analysis and mitigation of threats within the Bank's networks and systems, ensuring timely, accurate reporting that provides actionable intelligence for cyber defense. The role involves developing process improvements, technical solutions, and driving the defense of the organization’s information security architecture through expert consultation and threat mitigation. The analyst serves as a resource on security threats, industry trends, and leads high-risk projects.

Responsibilities

Daily Cadence

• Build and track the evolution of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures to enhance threat mitigation.
• Support technical analysis of SIEM alerts.
• Create content for new threats based on incidents, intelligence, or vulnerabilities.
• Identify technology gaps and contribute to designing solutions.
• Support automation to streamline triage responses.
• Coordinate incident triage efforts and communicate status to stakeholders.

Core Duties

• Lead threat hunting by designing pipelines and operational triggers.
• Support threat hunting activities post-incident and develop countermeasures.
• Create content for countermeasures and mitigations.
• Investigate SIEM/SOAR events, applying malware analysis and security expertise.

Ancillary Duties

• Collaborate with industry peers for proactive threat combat, data analysis, and intelligence sharing.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement use cases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in Information Security OR High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and threat mitigation techniques such as Yara, Sigma, or Regex.
• Knowledge of static and dynamic malware analysis, including memory and disk forensics.

Preferred Certifications

• SANS Cloud certifications, GIAC Cloud Security Threat Detection (GCTD), or Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI).

The salary range is approximately $117,000 to $190,000, with actual pay based on skills, experience, and location. Benefits are part of the total rewards package.
