The ideal candidate has 4+ years in information security analysis, 2+ years in governance/compliance, and hands-on experience with IAM and AI-based scanning tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security Analysis or a related field.
• 2+ years in governance, risk, and compliance roles, including policy adherence monitoring and report development.
• Foundational knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and data protection principles.
• Experience with AI-based classification and document scanning tools such as MS Purview, Varonis, or Securiti.ai.

Responsibilities

• Support DSPM by executing data scanning strategies and coordinating remediation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze scan results and validate data security findings.
• Develop and execute User Acceptance Test Plans for scanning solutions.

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst – Data Security Scanning & DSPM to join their team. As a Senior Information Security Analyst – Data Security Scanning & DSPM, you will be part of the Cybersecurity department supporting the Information Protection Scanning team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Senior Information Security Analyst – Data Security Scanning & DSPM

Location:Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $51 - $55/hr W2

Visa: USC Only

What's the Job?

• Support Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) by executing data scanning strategies and coordinating remediation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze scan results and validate findings related to data security and access management.
• Develop and execute User Acceptance Test Plans to ensure scanning solutions meet organizational requirements.
• Design and implement entitlements management programs integrated into unstructured data scanning processes.
• Utilize AI tools ethically to enhance research, summarization, and decision-making activities within cybersecurity operations.

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security Analysis or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance roles, including policy adherence monitoring and report development.
