Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an experienced ISSO to support DoD RMF-based information assurance programs. You will help implement and enforce security policies, develop and maintain SSPs and A&A documentation, and coordinate CM for security software, hardware, and firmware across programs.

You will plan security controls, assess risk, and ensure compliant operations, acting as an approval authority for ISs and interacting with ISSMs to maintain secure environments.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years experience as an ISSO on programs of similar scope.
• Experience with current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; protocols and encryption.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level I or higher; 4 years additional ISSO experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of System Security Plans, Risk Assessments, and C&A packages.
• Assist in evaluation of security solutions to meet requirements for processing classified information.
• Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program.
• Develop and maintain documentation for C&A in accordance with policies.
• Provide CM for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware.
• Develop system security policy and ensure compliance.
• Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies.
• Serve as Approval Authority for ISs under control.
