Program Summary The Simplification Center of Excellence (CoE) is building a new enterprise capability that helps teams create simpler, more effective, and more human‑centered solutions for associates, members, patients, and providers. Joining this team means contributing directly to how the organization understands work today and builds better experiences for the future. The CoE develops shared tools, methods, and guidance that support teams from discovery through delivery—bringing together process insight, research, ideation, rapid prototyping, and impact assessment to improve both speed and quality of outcomes. By establishing these capabilities, the team enables more informed decisions, stronger solution design, and greater confidence in what gets built and delivered.

Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Informaticist to serve as a data and analytics expert within our process intelligence/mining program, working alongside a Program Manager. In this role you will contribute deep analytical expertise, translating complex process and operational data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision‑making, prioritization, and continuous improvement. Using tools such as Power BI and advanced visualization techniques, you will design, build, and continuously refine dashboards and infographics that make insights intuitive, compelling, and immediately usable by leaders and delivery teams. Your ability to combine quantitative analysis with strong visual storytelling will ensure data is not only accurate, but actionable. Use your skills to make an impact

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and support the data strategy for each program that is onboarding to a task mining initiative.

  • Work collaboratively with the Program Manager and operational partners to define, refine, and monitor key metrics and KPIs that reflect engagement goals and performance.
  • Apply creativity and visual storytelling techniques to experiment with infographics and alternative data visualizations, making insights easier to understand and act upon.
  • Analyze trends, patterns, and variances in data to surface opportunities, risks, and emerging signals relevant to the engagement.
  • Iterate on dashboards and visuals based on user feedback, changing engagement needs, and evolving questions, ensuring outputs remain relevant and actionable.
  • Clearly communicate analytical findings through concise narratives and visuals that support discussion, decision‑making, and next steps within the pod.
Core Skills & Attributes
