Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miramar, Florida seeks an experienced Senior Engineer to advance Informatica SAS MDM and implement the Party Model. You will configure and optimize the MDM platform, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable master data for the enterprise.

This role emphasizes data quality, integration, and governance with IDMC and Reference360 experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
4+ years of experience in MDM development with a focus on Informatica MDM and Party Model implementation.
Hands-on experience implementing Informatica’s SAS MDM application.
Experience working with Reference360 and its usage within the MDM domain.
Experience with CAI, CDI and CDQ.
In-depth knowledge of Informatica’s SAS MDM tools, including IDMC, and their functionalities for party entities.
Familiarity with data modelling principles and data integration techniques.
Strong understanding of data quality management and data governance practices within an MDM environment.
Proficiency in data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot MDM-related issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
Knowledgeable in technology and software development processes.
Good presentation development and delivery skills.
Fair understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) required.
Experience with travel and hospitality industry is a huge plus.
Knowledge of Data Warehouses/Lakehouse architectures, Master Data Management, Data Quality Management, Data Integration, and Data Warehouse architecture.

Responsibilities

Informatica SAS MDM Configuration: Configure and customize Informatica SAS MDM to implement the Party Model, defining entity types, relationships, business rules, match and merge strategies, and user interfaces.
Data Modelling: Design and maintain the data model for party-related entities within the Informatica SAS MDM platform, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Data Integration: Integrate data from various source systems into Informatica SAS MDM via IDMC, performing profiling, cleansing, and transformation.
Match and Merge: Implement match and merge rules to identify and consolidate duplicate records within party entities.
Configure Address DoctorEngine-reference and email and phone verification.
Data Quality Management: Define and implement data quality rules and workflows within SAS MDM to monitor and improve data quality.
Experience working with Reference360 and its usage within the MDM domain.
Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize data loading, matching, and retrieval processes.
Testing and Validation: Conduct unit and integration testing to validate MDM configurations.
Documentation: Maintain technical documentation including design specs and configuration guides.
Build UNIX shell scripting and automation for Informatica job scheduling and repository backup.
Work with SFTP/SSH file transfer and loading using SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader.
