The University of Kansas Health System seeks an Infection Preventionist II to join Liberty Hospital’s infection prevention program. This role partners with leadership, clinicians, and staff to identify and implement infection prevention strategies and to support a culture of patient safety and continuous quality improvement.

You will develop policies, deliver training, and lead surveillance activities using NHSN data, aiming to reduce CAUTI, CLABSI, C.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a science or health related field from an accredited college/university.
• Bachelor's Degree in a science or health related field from an accredited college/university.
• Certified in Infection Control (CIC) required.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with leaders and clinicians to identify infection prevention priorities.
• Lead education and training on infection control and performance improvement.
• Collect, analyze, and report data to support surveillance and risk assessment.
• Coordinate responses to outbreaks and hospital-wide safety events.
