Qualifications

• Requires CIC certification
• Bachelor’s in nursing with 5+ years nursing experience
• Master’s degree in nursing or other healthcare field

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance activities and apply NHSN definitions for HAIs.
• Provide reports and data visualizations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives based on surveillance outcomes.
• Coordinate infection prevention activities and clinical education for staff.
• Develop policies and procedures aligned with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with Infection Prevention Committee and clinical staff to ensure adherence to best practices.

Education

Bachelor’s in nursing with 5+ years nursing experience

Bachelor’s in Microbiology / Public Health Epidemiology / Biology with 3+ years infection prevention

Master’s degree in nursing or other healthcare field
