Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience or 10+ years of related experience.
• Eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance and DHS Suitability determination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders across government and industry.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing technology markets, innovation trends, or private sector ecosystems to inform strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing industry engagement, markets, and private sector capabilities to inform DHS S&T strategy.
• Designing and institutionalizing S&T's strategic industry engagement model, including governance structures for engagement.
• Defining S&T-wide approaches for engaging industry partners to expand the innovation pipeline.
• Informing the design and execution of anchor events, roundtables, and workshops that align with priorities.
• Providing guidance to leadership on positioning S&T as a preferred federal customer and optimizing engagement strategies.
• Ensuring engagement strategies integrate with communications channels and metrics.
