HNTB Corporation is seeking a seasoned events professional to drive industry engagement and manage high-profile, external-facing events. You will partner with client agencies and vendors, craft detailed event plans, negotiate partnerships, and help shape annual external-event budgets within a dynamic team.

The role emphasizes brand integrity, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering sophisticated events that meet strategic objectives across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or relevant field.
• In lieu of degree, 12 years of related experience in event planning.

Responsibilities

• Ensures industry engagement portrays the HNTB brand in the best possible light.
• Maintains partnerships with key industry organizations, vendors and host client agencies.
• Collaborates with external partners and client staff to discover value, develop trusted relationships and deliver highly sophisticated events.
• Creates detailed event plans that include venue, timelines, budgets, catering, transportation, accommodations, and other event details to ensure seamless implementation.
• Sources, evaluates, and negotiates with partners on all aspects of creating and carrying out successful events.
• Maintains regular communication with HNTB’s Industry Engagement Director and others as appropriate, proactively sharing event information and recommending any improvements needed.
• Supports the Industry Engagement Director and others as appropriate to develop annual budgets for external events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
