Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an experienced events professional to manage industry engagement and external partnerships across a variety of high-profile infrastructure projects. You will design and execute comprehensive event plans, including budgets, venues and logistics, to deliver memorable experiences for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or relevant field and 8 years of relevant experience; corporate, non-profit, or agency event planning experience.
• In lieu of degree, 12 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Ensures industry engagement portrays the HNTB brand in the best possible light.
• Maintains partnerships with key industry organizations, vendors and host client agencies.
• Collaborates with external partners and client staff to discover value, develop trusted relationships and deliver highly sophisticated events.
• Creates detailed event plans that include venue, timelines, budgets, catering, transportation, accommodations, and other event details to ensure seamless implementation.
• Sources, evaluates, and negotiates with partners on all aspects of creating and carrying out successful events.
• Maintains regular communication with HNTB's Industry Engagement Director and others as appropriate, proactively sharing event information and recommending any improvements needed.
• Supports the Industry Engagement Director and others as appropriate to develop annual budgets for external events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
