Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks an experienced Industry Engagement/Events professional to advance our brand through strategic partnerships and well-planned external events. You will collaborate with client agencies and industry groups, coordinating venue, budgets, catering, travel, and more to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or relevant field with 8 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of degree, 12 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure industry engagement portrays the HNTB brand in the best possible light.
• Maintain partnerships with key industry organizations, vendors and host client agencies.
• Collaborate with external partners and client staff to discover value, develop trusted relationships and deliver highly sophisticated events.
• Create detailed event plans that include venue, timelines, budgets, catering, transportation, accommodations, and other event details to ensure seamless implementation.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with partners on all aspects of creating and carrying out successful events.
• Maintain regular communication with HNTB’s Industry Engagement Director and others as appropriate, proactively sharing event information and recommending any improvements needed.
• Supports the Industry Engagement Director and others as appropriate to develop annual budgets for external events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
