Job summary

Textron’s Kautex division seeks a Sr Specialist Industrialization to lead sampling execution across USA, Mexico, or Canada locations. The role focuses on blow molding, post-cooling, welding and related processes, ensuring parts meet CAR specs and are available on time for customer trials.

Qualifications

• Min. 7 years’ experience in tooling/welding/assembly process of plastic blow molded fuel tanks.
• Advanced blow molding processing experience is required.
• Min. 7 years’ experience in automotive industry and plastics manufacturing.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and electric systems.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for sampling execution and optimization of blow molding, post-cooling, welding and other processes to meet CAR requirements.
• Interpret test results and implement actions to ensure parts are in spec and on time for customer samplings.
• Support Industrialization Manager in defining sampling objectives, schedules and milestones.
• Escalate issues to Industrialization Manager or Sr Manager, Process - Americas.
• Ensure documentation of process parameters and sampling results (e.g., process book) for the Americas region.
• Prepare and participate in tooling and equipment kick-offs, sign-offs, and after-action reviews.
• Evaluate, debug, and implement solutions to manufacturing issues requested by cross-functional teams in the Americas.
• Ensure all blow molding processes in plants follow processing standards and basics.
• Promote safety, quality, and corporate standards; assist in training of Process Specialists or Technicians in the Americas.
