Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years in tooling/welding/assembly process of plastic blow molded fuel tanks
• Advanced blow molding processing experience with first sampling of projects in development
• 7+ years in automotive plastics manufacturing
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and electric systems
• Fluent English in writing and speech

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for sampling execution and optimization of blow molding, post-cooling, welding and related processes to meet CAR assumptions and participate in full trial runs at the assigned sampling location.
• Interpret test results and implement actions to ensure parts for samplings are in spec and on time.
• Support Industrialization Manager in defining sampling objectives, schedules, and milestones.
• Escalate potential issues to Industrialization Manager or Sr Manager, Process - Americas.
• Document process parameters and sampling results for the Americas region (e.g., process book).
• Prepare and participate in tooling and equipment kick-offs, sign-offs, and after-action reviews per standard procedures.
• Evaluate, debug, and implement solutions to manufacturing issues with cross-functional teams in the Americas.
• Ensure blow molding processes in plants adhere to processing standards and basics.
• Promote safety, quality, and corporate standards and procedures.
• Assist in training Process Specialist or Technician in the Americas.
