Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Specialist for Deer Park and Pasadena Terminals. You will operate, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems across multiple locations, performing preventive maintenance and responding to alarms to assure safe, compliant terminal operations.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and control troubleshooting skills, plus ability to interpret P&IDs and schematics.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
EPA Approved Technician, Type Universal (40 CFR 82 Subpart F) preferred or required.
Minimum 5+ years of industrial refrigeration or HVAC/R experience.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
Proficient with diagnostic tools (multimeters, gauges, vibration/temperature monitoring).
Strong safety knowledge (LOTO, confined space, hot work, PPE) and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial refrigeration systems and related equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on compressors, pumps, motors, valves, condensers, evaporators, and controls.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Monitor system performance and identify abnormal operating conditions; document findings in CMMS.
Coordinate with Operations and other maintenance disciplines; participate in after-hours callouts and emergency response.
