Job summary

ATS, established in 1985, seeks an experienced Refrigeration Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on large-scale refrigeration systems. You will diagnose failures, handle refrigerant management per EPA guidelines, and ensure safe, efficient operation across cooling towers and condensers.

A strong knowledge of controls and CMMS usage is essential. The role requires 7+ years in HVAC/R with at least 3 years on high-capacity systems; EPA 608 Universal Certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial or commercial refrigeration.
• At least 3 years on high-capacity systems (100+ tons, racks, cooling towers).
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and break-fix repairs on high-capacity refrigeration systems.
• Identifies root causes of equipment failures through diagnostics and testing.
• Maintains compliance with EPA and safety regulations and records refrigerant usage.
• Inspects and services cooling towers, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
• Collaborates with planning teams, mentors junior technicians, and supports CI efforts.
