Placements24 seeks a Senior Industrial Production Manager to lead and optimize production operations in Randburg, Gauteng. You will drive lean initiatives, supervise a large production team, and ensure safe, high-quality output while meeting targets.

The ideal candidate has a strong Industrial Engineering background, 7+ years in production management, and proven leadership in a manufacturing setting. Relocation assistance is available and a competitive package is offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in production management within industrial manufacturing.
Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production activities to meet targets safely and efficiently.
Develop and implement production schedules to optimize resource use.
Lead a team of production supervisors, line leaders, and operators.
Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor production performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Manage production budgets, control costs, and identify savings opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain for seamless operations.
Invest in training and development to enhance skills and productivity.
Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on the Randburg floor.
